About The Position
Community Health Network is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its established cardiology team in Indianapolis, Indiana. The position provides cardiac electrophysiology-related care across Community Hospital South, Community Hospital East, and Community Hospital North / Community Heart & Vascular Hospital. Work includes outpatient clinic care, hospital rounding, and oversight of cardiac testing. The provider floats among all sites and backfills the schedule of the provider on night call for the week, which may involve clinic work, hospital work, or both. The role uses Epic EMR. Community Health Network is a not-for-profit, provider-led, multi-specialty healthcare system headquartered in Indianapolis.
Requirements
- Be a board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Have an educational background consistent with the requirements for licensure and certification in Indiana.
- Be experienced and highly motivated.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient cardiology clinic care.
- Round on patients in the hospital.
- Oversee cardiac testing.
- Float among the assigned hospital sites and backfill the schedule of the provider on night call for the week, which may include clinic work, hospital work, or both.
