About The Position

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) is seeking Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to join their dynamic APP teams. The Center for Advanced Practice Providers (CAPP) was launched in 2022 to advance the profession, practice, and contributions of APPs. The system employs over 900 advanced practice nurses, including NPs, CRNAs, and Midwives, across various settings and specialties. Responsibilities

Provide care for patients in collaboration with the physician and within the guidelines mutually agreed upon by clinical and medical administration.
Assesses patients’ needs and develops plan of care in collaboration with the physician
Provides health teaching, guidance and counseling
Makes appropriate referrals with the concurrence of the physician
