About The Position

When you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.” About this role: As an Advanced Practice Provider with Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. You will work onsite at Amber Creek OB/GYN, located in Thornton, Colorado. You’ll see a mix of gynecologic and obstetric patients, providing annual well woman visits, initial and follow up appointments, in office procedures including endometrial biopsy, IUD insertion/removal, and Nexplanon insertion/removal. While not required, with training you may also perform colposcopies and interpret nonstress testing. Schedule will generally be Monday – Friday during regular clinic hours. There are no expectations for you to participate in any after-hours call, inpatient care, or surgeries in this role.

Requirements

  • Colorado license as a Physician Assistant (PA), Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), or an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
  • Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, or Physician Assistant
  • Federal DEA Certificate
  • BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers

  • Prior clinical experience in women's health

Responsibilities

  • Providing annual well woman visits
