About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide a combination of Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine at our Crawfordsville Franciscan WorkingWell Clinic and West Lafayette Express Care. The candidate will find strong mentorship within the group. Working Well provides healthcare to patients over 6 months of age across all aspects of their daily lives, from workplace-related care to acute/continuity visits. Service lines include: Working Well Occupational Health, Franciscan Express Care, and HealtheAccess.

Requirements

• Master's Degree
• Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
• Demonstrates an eagerness to learn.
• Ability to perform critical thinking/decision making.
• Strong background in Primary Care/Urgent Care.
• Strong communication skills to develop rapport with patients and client companies, and facilitate excellent patient experience.

Nice To Haves

• Occupational Medicine experience is preferred but not required.
• Willing to obtain DOT certification.
• Basic X-ray interpretation (all studies are read by a radiologist).
• Laceration repair.
• Minor procedures.
• Basic EKG interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Provide a combination of Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine.
• Provide healthcare to patients > 6 months of age and across all aspects of their daily lives.
• Provide a full spectrum of care, including workplace-related care and acute/continuity visits.
• Obtain DOT certification.
• Perform basic X-ray interpretation.
• Perform laceration repair.
• Perform minor procedures.
• Perform basic EKG interpretation.
