About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Psychiatric/Behavioral Health Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Psychiatric consultation liaison team and meet the growing demands for inpatient Behavioral Health services at Franciscan Health Crown Point. The ideal candidate will embrace the "team paradigm" and the center’s commitment to cultivating wellness and resiliency in the patients served. This role requires experience in treating psychiatric illnesses and substance use disorders, a strong foundation of medical knowledge, and a focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. The provider will display exceptional interpersonal skills and a desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff, working collaboratively with a physician to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of care.

Requirements

• Master's Degree
• Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
• Experience in treating psychiatric illnesses
• Experience in treating substance use disorders
• Strong foundation of medical knowledge
• Strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff
