Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) - Psychiatry
About The Position
Avance Psychiatry focuses on an integrated approach to psychiatric disorders, collaborating with behavioral therapists and primary care. The clinic is led by experienced psychiatrists with expertise in General Psychiatry, Addictions, Medical Pain, Treatment Resistant Disorders, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. They practice rational, patient-centered management incorporating pharmacology, behavioral therapy, and family involvement. Specialized treatments like ketamine infusions, buprenorphine, and Spravato are utilized. The clinic is involved in ongoing research to remain at the forefront of psychiatric care.
Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing - Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner- Board Certification or equivalent PA program degree
- Current valid state medical license
- DEA License
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screen
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient psychiatric care.
- Manage patients with psychiatric conditions, who are commercially insured.
- Work within an integrated system with practitioners in primary care, neurology, addiction, MAT, interventional psychiatry, and child psychiatry.
- Collaborate with over 60 behavioral therapists.
- Conduct 50% telehealth visits and 50% on-site visits.
