Advanced Practice Provider Primary Care
About The Position
Join an established Internal Medicine practice as an Advanced Practice Provider. The role includes assessing patients and assigning diagnoses based on recorded assessment data and current scientific research, establishing plans of care, and implementing interventions in accordance with care paths, protocols, standards of care, and current research. The provider also educates and counsels patients, families, and groups. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The position has no call or weekend work. This is a salaried position with a stated clinical base hourly pay range of $55.20–$63.65. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program.
- Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
- Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in primary care or a related field is preferred.
