Advanced Practice Provider – Pediatrics- Spring Mills - East
About The Position
The West Virginia University Health System is the state’s largest health system and largest private employer, comprising 18 hospitals throughout the state and bordering states. In addition, it includes five institutes, as well as providing management services for other local hospitals through affiliate agreements. This position is located at the WVU Medicine - Primary Care Clinic - Spring Mills (61 Campus Drive Martinsburg, WV 25404). The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. There are after-hours phone call requirements only, with no in-person requirements. The frequency is 1-2 days per month and 3 weekends per year. The clinic uses EPIC as its EMR system and has 3 Physicians and 1 APP in the department. The expected patient volume is 16-18 per day, with a patient age range from birth through the provider's preference.
Requirements
- Advanced Practice Provider qualification.
- Experience with EPIC EMR system is implied by clinic usage.
- Ability to manage patient volume of 16-18 per day.
- Willingness to participate in after-hours phone call rotation.
