About The Position

Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with past or present Oncology work experience to join their growing Oncology – Hematology team. The APP will collaborate closely with two full-time APPs and a weekly rotation of medical oncologists in an inpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in oncology and/or as a hospitalist, focusing on clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and exceptional interpersonal skills. The provider will work collaboratively with physicians to coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Master's Degree
• Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification
• Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C)
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
• Past or present experience in oncology and/or as a hospitalist.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Oncology is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with two full-time APPs and a weekly rotation of medical oncologists in the inpatient setting.
• Coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care in collaboration with physicians.
• Develop heightened inpatient oncology assessment skills.
• Engage with clinical staff providing direct patient care.
• Work collaboratively with rotating oncologists weekly.
