About The Position

Sentara Medical Group is seeking a motivated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Gastroenterology Clinic at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a specialized team dedicated to improving patients’ lives through high-quality, collaborative care. The role involves supporting the GI team in-house, focusing on consults and advanced GI care, including luminal and interventional procedures. The schedule is Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, with flexibility for a 4-day week. There are no call responsibilities, promoting work-life balance within a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Requirements

• Must be a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
• Motivated and compassionate.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Gastroenterology.
• Experience with luminal and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support the GI team in-house.
• Focus on consults and advanced GI care (luminal and interventional procedures).
