About The Position

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking a motivated Orthopaedic Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the growing orthopedic team at Finger Lakes Health in Geneva, New York. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced orthopedic surgeons and healthcare professionals, providing comprehensive care to patients with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions in both clinical and surgical settings. Whether you're an early-career provider or looking to expand your orthopedic experience, you'll have the opportunity to evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, assist with procedures, and contribute to exceptional patient outcomes. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $115,000 – $135,000 annually in a collaborative environment focused on clinical excellence and professional development.

Requirements

  • Current New York State Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license.
  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Less than one (1) year of experience required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, rehabilitation specialists, and other healthcare professionals.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous clinical rotations or experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, emergency medicine, or surgical services.
  • Experience assisting with orthopedic procedures or post-operative patient management.
  • Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions and treatment plans.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Passion for providing high-quality, patient-centered orthopedic care.
