About The Position
Advanced Urology Institute, powered by Urology Alliance, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join their team. The position involves providing scheduled patient services under physician supervision in both hospital and clinic settings, completing patient histories and physicals, determining tentative diagnoses, ordering tests, and counseling patients and families. The role requires participation in continuing education and credentialing requirements, working a flexible schedule, and performing other assigned duties.
Requirements
- State Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Urology experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in both a hospital & clinic setting
- Complete patient histories and physicals
- Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests
- Counsel the patient and family on health and disease
- Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes at assigned medical facilities
- Work flexible schedule as dictated by business needs and operations
- Perform other duties as assigned
