About The Position

Jaffe Sports Medicine is a PartnerCare affiliated multidisciplinary practice serving Southwest Florida with expertise in sports medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, interventional pain management, orthopedics, diagnostic testing, and physical therapy. With locations in Naples and Cape Coral, Jaffe Sports Medicine is expanding its clinical capabilities with the launch of a dedicated Regenerative Medicine and Integrative Musculoskeletal Care program. Our practice focuses on taking care of the patient with a comprehensive plan, delivering high customer service, keeping patients safe and well-informed and reducing patients' pain as much as possible. Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current AANP or NCCPA certification (as applicable)
  • Active and unrestricted Georgia license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
  • Passion for patient-centered care and collaborative practice
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program (AANP Certification)
  • Maintains current and unrestricted state license with a DEA with Schedule II
  • CPR certification for Health Care Providers
  • ACLS and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to develop safe, balanced, and patient-focused pain management treatment plans
  • Perform comprehensive and problem-focused patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations
  • Work with physicians to diagnose and order appropriate minimally-invasive procedures to address the root cause of patients’ pain, offering alternatives to debilitating surgery or reliance on medications
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete electronic health records documenting patient care and treatment outcomes
  • Initiate referrals and consultations when patient needs exceed scope of practice or expertise
  • Educate and counsel patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and health promotion
  • Counsel patients on medication regimens, potential side effects, and interactions with supplements and over-the-counter medications
  • Review patient documentation to evaluate the effectiveness and quality of care provided
