About The Position

Academic Urology & Urogynecology of Arizona (AUUA) is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join their team. This role is part of Urology Alliance, a physician-led network focused on advancing urological care. The position offers the opportunity to practice independently with robust operational support, allowing clinicians to focus on patient outcomes and the future of urology. AUUA, powered by Urology Alliance, leverages a national network for superior patient care in a private practice setting.

Requirements

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or PA degree from an accredited program
Active and valid state medical license
DEA/DPS license
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong leadership and team collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

Urology experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Perform complete evaluations on patients of all ages.
Order and interpret lab work, imaging, and other diagnostic studies.
Establish working diagnoses and develop treatment plans in collaboration with urologists.
Implement therapeutic interventions and provide appropriate follow-up care.
Refer to the supervising urologist or specialists as needed.
Sees new and follow-up patients and provides problem-oriented intervention for their urological conditions.
Assists in care, treatment, and follow-up as needed.
Perform and/or assists in-office procedures, including transrectal ultrasound (TRUS) volume studies, cystoscopies, post-void residual (PVRs) evaluations, difficult catheterizations, post-op voiding trials, and other necessary procedures.
Orders and interprets lab, x-ray, special studies, and clinical procedures, and provides appropriate care and follow-up.
Provides phone/video consultation for patient complaints and prescription refills.
Performs on-call duties for urology.
Evaluates, screens, and counsels patients on health maintenance and promotes utilization of community resources.
Other duties as assigned.
