About The Position

Full-time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP), or Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) opportunity for experienced advanced practice providers with a background in newborn nursery care. Join a collaborative team caring for infants in a newborn nursery with an average daily census of 18-20 babies, providing comprehensive neonatal assessment and management. 8-hour day shift schedule with a weekend and holiday rotation, offering a predictable work-life balance in a hospital-based setting.

Requirements

  • Experienced advanced practice providers with a background in newborn nursery care.
  • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP), or Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP).

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive newborn care responsibilities, including daily rounding, admissions, triage, history and physical examinations, care plan development, discharge planning, and family education.
  • Provide specialized neonatal procedures, including intubation, umbilical line placement, arterial sticks, and IV insertions, while delivering evidence-based care to newborn patients.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality neonatal and newborn nursery care.
  • Conduct prenatal consultations and support families through education, care coordination, and transition-to-home planning.
