About The Position
Kirby Medical Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Quick Care team in Monticello, Illinois. The role provides care for patients of all ages with a variety of needs, including suturing and wound care, incision and drainage, treatment of orthopedic injuries, and diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses. Quick Care is a fully staffed setting with nursing and clinical support staff. This is a full-time position at 36 hours per week, structured as three 12-hour shifts, with rotating Saturday shifts. Department hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Weekend coverage is PRN; no holiday coverage is required. Salary is up to $146,581 per year, dependent on experience, with potential bonus opportunities.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of urgent care experience.
- Illinois licensure.
- BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Care for patients of all ages in a Quick Care setting.
- Perform suturing and wound care.
- Provide incision and drainage (I&D).
- Treat orthopedic injuries.
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses.
