About The Position

The Big Rapids Hospital team is looking for a Part Time (0.60 FTE) Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their hospital medicine practice caring for patients on their busy team. In addition to PAs, they are seeking Acute Care or Adult Gerontology NPs. Experience is preferred but not required. This role involves working with a well-established physician group, additional APPs, and other disciplines to assure safety and success. The schedule averages 4 twelve-hour shifts over a two-week period (7am-7pm or 7pm–7am), with no call requirements. Scheduling may vary as needed with the team, and there is a robust ramp-up and orientation process. A Virtual Nocturnist is available for consultation as needed.

Requirements

Nurse Practitioner Master’s degree required.
NP education and certification (post-2000) must be from a program accredited by CCNE or NLNAC.
3 years of relevant, current clinical experience.
Previous experience functioning in a collaborative NP role.
Michigan NP license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Physician Assistant Master’s degree required; graduate of an accredited PA program.
Michigan PA license.
PA-C certification through NCCPA.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
