About The Position

This position is accountable for the provision of patient care and other activities as permitted by licensure and defined within Credentialing and Privileging documentation (hospital), Credentialing and Scope of Practice (Medical Group), Consultation and Referral Plan (DOPL) or other similar documentation as appropriate. As part of that patient care, this position is accountable to: deliver optimal patient care through effective clinical practice; education of the patient, patient's family, clinical staff, and others; consultation with other healthcare providers; and maintain current knowledge regarding options for optimal patient care and outcomes. As a Physician Assistant, PA or a Nurse Practitioner, NP in our Hospitalist group, you'll work collaboratively with 30+ additional providers, to provide top-notch care and patient experience. Throughout the day you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with other APPs, care and case management, the ICU, and the ED. You would practice at Intermountain Health: St. Vincent Regional Hospital. You would be joining a well-respected, established group of providers. Flexible schedule and the position is full-time. Nights position, have to be open to working nights. EPIC EMR utilization (system-wide). Excellent opportunity for mentorship, professional growth, and plenty of program support. Great team dynamic. The hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center, a Certified Stroke Center, and an accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI.

Requirements

  • An active Physician Assistant PA or Nurse Practitioner NP License by the MT State Board.
  • Prescriptive Authority by the MT state board of Nursing or Medical Examiners and DEA License.
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS Certification within 6 months of employment (site specific).
  • Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service oriented environment.
  • Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including Microsoft and Google products.
  • The ability to learn new applications relevant to your position.
  • Passion for hospital medicine.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a provider required.
  • Nights required.
