About The Position

Treats and evaluates patients; administers patient care in a particular clinical specialty area, under the direction of the licensed physician. Knowledgeable about patient care diagnosis and treatment, current methods and techniques of practice. Performs a wide variety of patient care activities in accordance with scope of practice and licensure guidelines and in collaboration with and under the direction of the licensed physician. Conducting comprehensive patient history taking, physical examinations, and reviewing laboratory data to diagnose hematological conditions like anemia, bleeding disorders, blood cancers (leukemia, lymphoma), and myeloproliferative disorders along with working with chemotherapy treatments experience strongly preferred. Classical Benign and Malignant Hematology outpatient experience strongly preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
  • Masters Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program
  • Bachelors Degree (for Physician Assistant)
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • PA Medical Physician Asst Lic Required
  • Certified Physician Assistant Required or CRNP - PA Cert Reg Nurse Practitioner Required

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years experience as a physician assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • Experience with chemotherapy treatments
  • Classical Benign and Malignant Hematology outpatient experience
