About The Position
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will serve as a full-time Gynecology/Oncology APP, potentially a PA or NP prepared with appropriate graduate-level education and authorized to practice and prescribe. This role involves seeing consults, follow-ups, post-operative patients, and surveillance of patients. The position is primarily outpatient office-based, with some inpatient rounding and discharges. The schedule is Monday through Friday at the Cancer Center, with no evening or weekend requirements.
Requirements
- Graduate from accredited Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- DEA license
- BLS certified
- Certified Nurse Practitioner: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner certification verified by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Current, valid license (registration) by the Ohio Board of Nursing or applicable state board
- Physician Assistant: Graduate from accredited physician assistant program with a Master's Degree Physician Assistant Certification (verified by the National Commission or the Certification of Physician Assistant – NCCPA. Current, valid license (registration) by the state Medical Board of Ohio or applicable state medical board. Current Certificate to prescribe by the State Medical Board of Ohio.
