Advanced Practice Provider - General Surgery
About The Position
WellSpan Health is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their General Surgery team in Lewisburg. This role involves participating in surgical procedures as a first assist in the operating room and working inpatient at Lewisburg Hospital. The provider will conduct thorough patient assessments during rounding, evaluate patient status and progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care. Requirements
- Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required
- 1 year of Work Experience Required
- Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required
- Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required
- BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required
- Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required
- Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required
- Physician Assistant - Graduate of accredited physician assistant program Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities
