About The Position

This is a full-time role with a 4x10 shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-5:00 pm. The position involves no nights or weekends, and no major holidays. There is a call rotation of one week every 2-3 months. The role is accountable for advanced nursing practice in the care of assigned patient populations. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing client health data, identifying appropriate expected outcomes, developing and implementing a plan of care, providing comprehensive clinical coordination of care and case management, consulting to influence the plan of care for clients using prescriptive authority procedures and treatment in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations, evaluating client progress in attaining expected outcomes, conducting nursing research, and providing education to patients, families, and nursing staff. The provider will deliver comprehensive care to new and established patients, including history, physical exam, treatment plan, and proper follow-up. They will also participate in continuing education opportunities to maintain proficiency in evidence-based practice, serve as a consultant and leader to clinical staff within the clinic, participate in the call schedule, and ensure the proper functioning of telephone devices. The role assures the delivery of clinical services in a way that meets and exceeds quality standards while providing an excellent patient experience. The provider will meet or exceed the system's RVU productivity goals, participate in clinic and system provider meetings, complete necessary patient paperwork, and respond to Inbasket messages in a timely manner. They will perform procedures documented on the CPA/PASA and consistent with education, training, and experience, develop high-quality visit notes with efficient documentation, and utilize critical thinking in identifying the need for collaboration with the physician. If prescriptive authority for controlled medications is necessary, the APP is responsible for maintaining all DEA and BNDD requirements. The role includes ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies and providing personalized education to patients regarding self-management, medications, and long-term complications.

Requirements

  • Less than 1 year Applicable Experience
  • Advanced Practice Provider Cert(MO/KS) - Various
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • Master's Degree
