Advanced Practice Provider General Cardiology
About The Position
Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Cardiology Clinic at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. The selected candidate will partner with 7 general and interventional cardiologists and 6 APPs to help deliver exceptional care to cardiology patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role involves rounding on general and interventional cardiology patients, pre-procedure work-ups for CATH cases, removing pericardial drains and temporary pacemakers when needed, and handling clinic follow-ups and supervising outpatient treadmills after rounding is complete. The position offers a manageable patient volume with the opportunity to work with complex cardiology patients, and future leadership opportunities will be available.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program, required
- Valid license/certification as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in DEA and prescriptive authority, required
- BLS and ACLS, required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience working as an NP or PA in a cardiology setting, required
Responsibilities
