Advanced Practice Provider – Cardiology
About The Position
Columbus Cardiology Associates, a Partner Practice of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA), is expanding and seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established cardiology team in Columbus, Georgia. Our practice includes six cardiologists and a highly collaborative APP team providing comprehensive cardiovascular care across outpatient clinics and affiliated hospitals throughout the region. Providers enjoy a supportive environment, hands-on learning opportunities, and exposure to a wide range of cardiovascular conditions and procedures. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Board certification required
- Passion for patient-centered care and teamwork
Nice To Haves
- Cardiology experience is a plus, but not required
- New graduates with strong interest in cardiology are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Primarily outpatient cardiology with shared inpatient responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage cardiovascular patients across clinic and hospital settings
- Collaborate closely with physicians and APP colleagues in a team-focused environment
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing, manage medications, and develop treatment plans
- Opportunity to assist with stress testing, hospital consults, and follow-up care
