The Advanced Practice Provider will provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in both a hospital & clinic setting. This role involves completing patient histories and physicals, determining tentative diagnoses, ordering appropriate laboratory tests, and counseling patients and families on health and disease. The provider will also participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements for credentialing at assigned medical facilities and work a flexible schedule as dictated by business needs and operations.

Requirements

State Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Gastrointestinal experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in both a hospital & clinic setting
Complete patient histories and physicals
Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests
Counsel patient and family on health and disease
Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes at assigned medical facilities
Work flexible schedule as dictated by business needs and operations
Perform other duties as assigned
