Requirements
- Current or eligible Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- Appropriate state prescriptive authority
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to see patients of all ages
Nice To Haves
- Urgent care, emergency medicine, family medicine, or similar experience preferred
- DOT certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries
- Perform common urgent care procedures
- Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing
- Provide an initial interpretation of X-rays, with radiologist over-read for confirmation
- Treat patients across the lifespan
- Provide occupational medicine services when needed
- Determine when patients require a higher level of care
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Deliver an excellent patient experience
