Advanced Practice Provider Cardiology
About The Position
As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Cardiology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. You would work both outpatient and inpatient at Intermountain Health Medical Center in Murray, UT. Your hours would be 4/10s Mon-Fri with your day off on a rotating schedule with an occasional weekend about every 12 weeks. Outpatient work would consist of 2 days per week seeing about 12 general and interventional patients per day. Inpatient work would consist of 2 days per week with mostly Interventional Cardiology patients pre/post procedures, consults, and rounding.
Requirements
- APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
- Active, unobstructed Utah license, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
- Minimum 1 year of cardiology experience as an NP or PA
- Can consider new grads with previous cardiology experience as an RN, or cardiology rotations during your program
Responsibilities
- Work both outpatient and inpatient at Intermountain Health Medical Center in Murray, UT.
- See about 12 general and interventional patients per day in outpatient settings.
- Provide care for mostly Interventional Cardiology patients pre/post procedures, consults, and rounding in inpatient settings.
