About The Position
Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their group at Franciscan Health Heart Center Michigan City. The ideal candidate will have experience in IMCU, CVU, and inpatient cardiology, with a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Clinic and stress test experience are preferred. The provider will work collaboratively with physicians to deliver high-quality patient care and will have the opportunity to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff.
Requirements
- Master's Degree
- Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
- 1+ years of IMCU, CVU and inpatient cardiology experience
- Exceptional interpersonal skills

- Clinic and stress test experience
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care in collaboration with physicians.
- Provide care in IMCU, CVU, and inpatient cardiology settings.
- Conduct clinic visits and stress tests (preferred).
