Advanced Practice Provider - Cardiology Electrophysiology
About The Position
Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who specializes in Electrophysiology to join our group at Franciscan Health Munster located in Munster, IN. The interested candidate will join an extensive cardiology team and a steady, well-established cardiac group with excellent mentors and experienced cardiologists. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction, displaying an exceptional desire to develop strong ties with patients, the community, and existing medical staff. The provider will need to work collaboratively with physicians to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
Requirements
- Master's Degree Required
- Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) – Required - or Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification – Required
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required

Responsibilities
- Primarily outpatient work with some time in the hospital (primarily stress test supervision).
- Manage common diagnoses and procedures including Abnormal Heart Rhythms, Abnormal EKG, Arrhythmia, Cardiac Arrest, Syncope, Congestive Heart Failure, COPD.
- Utilize equipment such as Device Programmers and Device Systems (Murj).
- Coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care in collaboration with physicians.
