About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join their group at Franciscan Physician Network Cardiology Crown Point. The ideal candidate will have past or present IMCU, CVU, and inpatient cardiology experience, with a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. The provider will need to work collaboratively with physicians to coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care. The role involves managing H&P's, discharge orders, and discharge summaries. The schedule includes 36 clinical patient contact hours, with an average inpatient volume of 15-20 patients per day. Inpatient rounding is shared on weekends with call responsibilities of 1:4 to 1:5. Outpatient volume will vary.

Requirements

• Master's Degree
• Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
• IMCU, CVU & inpatient cardiology experience is preferred
