Advanced Practice Provider - Cardiology Electrophysiology
About The Position
Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their group at Franciscan Health Michigan City. The role involves joining an extensive and established cardiology team. The ideal candidate will have past or present IMCU, CVU, and inpatient cardiology experience, with a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. The provider will need to display exceptional interpersonal skills and a desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. The provider will work collaboratively with physicians to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
Requirements
- Master's Degree Nursing / Patient Care
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association Per Job Setting
- Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification - National Certification Corporation (NCC)
Nice To Haves
- Past or present IMCU, CVU and inpatient cardiology experience
- Strong focus on clinical excellence, and patient satisfaction
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff
- Doctorate Nursing / Patient Care
- IMCU, CVU & inpatient cardiology experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage H&P's
- Manage Discharge orders
- Manage Discharge summaries
- Inpatient rounding shared on weekends
- Work collaboratively with physician to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care
