About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their group at Franciscan Health Michigan City. The ideal candidate will join an extensive and established cardiology team and will have past or present IMCU, CVU, and inpatient cardiology experience. The candidate should have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. The provider will work collaboratively with physicians to coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Master's Degree Nursing / Patient Care
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
• Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board
• Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification - National Certification Corporation (NCC)

Nice To Haves

• Past or present IMCU, CVU and inpatient cardiology experience
• Clinic and stress test experience
