Advanced Practice Provider (APRN/PA)- CT Surgery
About The Position
The APRN or Physician Assistant provides nursing and medical services to individuals, families and groups, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention as well as diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases. Works autonomously as well as in collaboration with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage clients' health care problems. Maintains an annual protocol with supervising physician, as required by state professional regulatory agencies. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values in accordance with Tampa General Hospital.
Requirements
- PA and/or NP, with Acute Care or Gerontology certification is eligible for this role.
- Current licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Florida.
Nice To Haves
- Thoracic Surgery and/or Oncology experience is preferred.
