Advanced Practice Provider (APRN/PA)- CT ICU
About The Position
This is a critical care PA or NP position working in an intensivist led cardiothoracic intensive care unit taking care of ICU patients, pre and post transplant, cardiothoracic surgery, advanced heart failure, patients with mechanical circulatory support in addition to other conditions. The ideal candidate works autonomously as well as in collaboration with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage critical care clients' health care problems. Maintains an annual protocol with supervising physician, as required by state professional regulatory agencies. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values in accordance with Tampa General Hospital.
Requirements
- Current licensure as Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in the State of Florida
- Previous ICU experience required
Nice To Haves
- Acute Care or Adult Gerontology certification preferred
- Recent experience as ARNP/PA in CV Surgery or Critical Care with Cardiac experience preferred
