Instructors are Clinical Faculty at the University of Colorado School of Medicine that work at Children's Hospital Colorado in an emergency care settings. They provide medical care to acutely ill and injured infants, children, and adolescents in our 24/7 and afterhours network of Emergency facilities. In this role, they perform history and physical examinations to define and execute appropriate workup that leads to diagnosis, treatment, and disposition. Work in this setting will require technical and procedural skills and may require pediatric resuscitation and advanced life support. In addition, Clinical Faculty are involved with institutional quality and patient safety improvement and development of clinical care guidelines that aim to provide consistent, quality care throughout our institution and are core members of the clinical Pediatric teaching staff for University of Colorado School of Medicine.
