MUSC Health Primary Care – Trenholm Rd is seeking a compassionate and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing outpatient primary care team. Requirements

  • Advanced Practice Provider: Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Current South Carolina licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • BLS certification
  • DEA and DHEC licensure prior to start date
  • Passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Commitment to teamwork, preventive medicine, and improving community health

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive preventive, acute, and chronic care management
  • Perform patient assessments, physical examinations, and treatment planning
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of primary care conditions
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies
  • Collaborate with specialists and multidisciplinary care teams
  • Educate patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle practices
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice
