About The Position
The Corewell Health Ludington Hospital team is looking for a Full Time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their hospital medicine practice. This role involves caring for patients on a busy team, working alongside a well-established physician group, additional APPs, and other disciplines. The position offers a robust ramp-up and orientation process, with virtual nocturnist support available for consultation after 7 pm. Ludington, MI, offers a blend of coastal living and small-town charm, known for its Lake Michigan beaches, outdoor adventures, and vibrant community life.
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner Master’s degree required.
- NP education and certification (post-2000) must be from a program accredited by CCNE or NLNAC.
- Physician Assistant Master’s degree required; graduate of an accredited PA program.
- Michigan NP license.
- Michigan PA license.
- PA-C certification through NCCPA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Experience is preferred but not required.
- 3 years of relevant, current clinical experience preferred.
- Previous experience functioning in a collaborative NP role preferred.
Responsibilities
- Caring for patients on the hospital medicine team.
- Working with a well-established physician group, additional APPs, and other disciplines to assure safety and success.
- Providing care during twelve-hour shifts.
- Consulting with virtual nocturnist as needed.
