About The Position

This role supports abortion care through direct clinical triage, patient education, and follow-up, ensuring timely and empathetic support to those navigating abortion services. Our teams thrive on feedback and center our patients, whatever their needs. This role is represented by SEIU, Local 105 and is governed by the terms of a collective bargaining agreement. Training includes paid sessions, ongoing development, and a structured onboarding plan. Initial travel to Denver (2–4 weeks) may be required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of advanced practice clinical experience in women’s health and/or reproductive medicine.
  • Must have completed an NP or CNM educational program that is certified as an NP or CNM by a national certification organization.
  • Meets state licensing requirements and holds an active state license with prescriptive authority (full prescriptive authority required in Colorado).
  • Holds or is willing to obtain DEA certification.
  • Eligible for credentialing with Medicaid and other payors (no restrictions).
  • Submit updated Resume/CV and a completed Pre-Hire Skills Self-Assessment Checklist along with application.

Nice To Haves

  • Completes in-house ultrasound training within 1 year if practicing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive physical exams with a focus on reproductive health for all genders.
  • Perform cancer screenings, diagnose/treat STIs, and complete advanced clinical procedures.
  • Deliver contraceptive counseling, education, and method provision.
  • Participate in abortion care through counseling, referrals, scheduling, and/or direct provision.
  • Provide patient-centered, trauma-informed care, including medication abortion and gender-affirming care, following all laws and PPRM Medical Standards & Guidelines.
  • Partner with patients, care teams, and community agencies to support holistic care.
  • Advance access to reproductive healthcare while achieving quality and performance goals as a clinical leader.
