About The Position

The Role and Impact: Join Intel as an Operations Finance Specialist and play a pivotal role in supporting critical financial functions that drive our business success. In this role, you will provide expert financial advisory, analysis, and insights to support Intel's strategic objectives. You will partner with key stakeholders to translate business strategies into actionable financial plans, analyze performance against targets, and deliver insights that inform decision-making across multiple teams. Our team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join as a Finance Specialist supporting Back End Manufacturing Capital. This position will be the primary Finance support for forecasting and financial close for Cap Ex and capital spending authorization for the New Mexico and Oregon manufacturing organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant professional experience, or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in data analysis, financial modeling, and/or business intelligence tools.
  • Experience in financial process improvement, budgeting, and/or forecasting.
  • Experience in technical finance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning cycles, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Partner with operational teams to develop and execute financial plans and strategies.
  • Perform in-depth analyses of business performance and key performance indicators to support performance management discussions and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Execute financial process improvements by maintaining financial tools, automating workflows, and delivering efficient methods of analysis and reporting.
  • Conduct cost/benefit and sensitivity analyses for various scenarios and their impact on business teams.
  • Provide strategic finance support to senior leaders and managers, offering insights and recommendations that drive operational and financial decisions.
  • Develop complex financial models and deliver data-driven insights to support resource allocation and organizational trade-offs.
  • Ensure compliance with reporting standards and corporate policies, maintaining integrity in external and internal reporting.
  • Drive cost reduction strategies, process efficiencies, and system automation to enhance business performance.
