About The Position

This role requires an Advanced Operator to be proficient in all Packer and Entry Operator duties. The position involves completing start-of-shift inspections and sanitation of equipment, tracking sanitation results, retains, micros, and product specification compliance. The operator will also perform quality checks, participate in preventative maintenance, and utilize JDE software appropriately. Key responsibilities include understanding the non-conformity manual, maintaining good run adjustments (print registration, label adjustments, substrate dimensions, and folds), and completing minor machine changeovers. The role also involves communicating information to the on-coming shift, maintaining 6S compliance, and rotating into any position as needed. The job requires the ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for 8-12 hours, walk long distances, and wear required PPE. Cleaning assigned areas to maintain cGMP is also a part of the role, along with performing other assigned tasks and work-related duties. Ensuring all work is performed in a safe manner is a direct and important responsibility, and effectiveness in this area will be considered in performance evaluations.

  • A working knowledge of cGMP regulations and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing lines and processes.
  • Must be in good standing-no recent attendance warnings

Responsibilities

  • Must be proficient in ALL Packer and Entry Operator duties
  • Complete start of shift inspection/sanitation of equipment
  • Track Sanitation results, Retains/Micros and Product specification compliance
  • Complete quality checks as needed
  • Perform and/or participate in Preventative Maintenance of equipment
  • Working knowledge of JDE - appropriate to the Advanced Operator position and responsibilities.
  • Know and understand non-conformity manual
  • Maintain good run adjustments i.e., print registration, label adjustments, substrate dimensions and folds)
  • Complete minor machine changeovers (film, label, paper and box sizes)
  • Complete and/or participate in major changeovers
  • Communicate information to on-coming shift
  • Must be able to maintain 6S compliance
  • Rotate into any position as needed due to absences, breaks, etc.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand at least 8-12 hours
  • Must be able to walk long distances
  • Required to wear PPE, including hair net, beard net and any other as required for job
  • Clean any area of the facility as assigned or needed to maintain cgmp
  • All other tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned
