Looking for a lifetime career? Apply today! Job Description Would you like to be part of advancing the state-of-the-art of thermal hydraulic testing capabilities in the Naval Nuclear Program? Do you enjoy hands-on laboratory work that solve real-life complex engineering problems? Consider this highly rewarding position of a Thermal Hydraulic Test Engineer. A successful candidate will be responsible for hands on work implementing test instrumentation and apparatus, specifying tests, processing data, and analyzing test results. The Thermal Hydraulic Test Engineer will also be responsible for working as a part of the team to develop test section design and advanced diagnostic techniques to be used in a high temperature and high-pressure environment. This includes significant collaboration with other groups to ensure successful execution of test and ensuring that testing meeting the technical and timing needs of end users.

Requirements

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related engineering or science field and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a related engineering or science field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university in a related engineering or science field
Currently an Advanced Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or Field (RPCO) Engineer at the Company
All candidates must be U.S. citizens
Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified matter
All candidates must be able to pass a drug test in compliance with FMP company policy and 10 CFR 707

Nice To Haves

Master's Degree or Ph. D. in Mechanical, Aerospace, or equivalent
Experience in two-phase testing
Experience working in projects/teams with multiple stakeholders
