About The Position

As a network systems integration engineer within the NC3 engineering group, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for integrating state of the art network and security devices into critical mission systems in support of our nation's strategic deterrence mission. Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
  • Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
  • Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards

  • Expertise in configuring switches, routers, and firewalls to ensure secure and efficient network operations.
  • Proficiency in MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, or similar).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly report information relevant to sound systems engineering design.
  • Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle complex assignments efficiently.
  • Awareness of business objectives and the role of engineering in achieving these goals.
  • Skilled in communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions effectively.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform lab-based configuration of network equipment to support larger mission system integration.
  • Design, develop, and implement complex systems with a focus on networking and MBSE tools.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve system design weaknesses, particularly in networked environments.
  • Develop system security documentation and provide system accreditation/certification evaluation and test support.
  • Utilize MBSE tools to model, simulate, and analyze system designs, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, scalable, and secure architectures.
  • Research and analyze data, such as vendor products, COTS components, and specifications, to determine feasibility of design or application.
  • Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
