About The Position

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting an Advanced Multi-Axis CNC Precision Machinist – Medical Manufacturing for one of our valued client partners in West Chester, Pennsylvania. This full-time, onsite opportunity is designed for skilled CNC Machinists who want to work with advanced multi-axis machining technology producing high-precision medical device components. The position offers exposure to sophisticated Mazak Integrex, Mazak Variaxis, and Star Swiss multi-axis milling and turning platforms within a climate-controlled manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will independently set up and operate CNC equipment, interpret complex blueprints, select tooling, adjust offsets, verify dimensional accuracy, and maintain the tight tolerances and surface finishes required for precision manufacturing.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently set up and operate CNC equipment.
  • Strong blueprint and engineering-drawing interpretation skills.
  • Working knowledge of CNC machining fundamentals.
  • Understanding of tooling selection, offsets, feeds, speeds, and machining parameters.
  • Hands-on experience using precision measuring equipment, including: Calipers, Micrometers, Indicators, Comparable dimensional inspection equipment.
  • Ability to verify dimensions and maintain tight manufacturing tolerances.
  • Ability to troubleshoot machining and production issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality components.
  • Ability to work onsite in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

Nice To Haves

  • Mazak Integrex experience.
  • Mazak Variaxis or comparable 5-axis machining experience.
  • Star Swiss or other Swiss-type CNC experience.
  • Multi-axis CNC setup and machining experience.
  • Experience with Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Mori Seiki, Citizen, Tsugami, DMG Mori, Makino, or similar equipment.
  • Experience performing both CNC milling and turning.
  • Experience producing high-precision components requiring tight tolerances.
  • Medical device, aerospace, or another precision manufacturing background.
  • Strong troubleshooting and process-improvement capabilities.
  • Experience performing first-piece and in-process inspections.

Responsibilities

  • Independently set up and operate CNC machining equipment.
  • Produce precision components while maintaining required tolerances, specifications, and surface finishes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, manufacturing specifications, and process documentation.
  • Select appropriate tooling based on machining requirements.
  • Establish and adjust machine offsets, tooling, feeds, and speeds.
  • Perform first-piece, in-process, and final dimensional inspections.
  • Verify finished components using precision measuring equipment.
  • Utilize calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges, and related inspection tools.
  • Monitor machining processes and make adjustments necessary to maintain quality and productivity.
  • Troubleshoot machining, tooling, setup, dimensional, and production issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve cycle times and overall manufacturing efficiency.
  • Support continuous-improvement initiatives.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain an organized work environment.
  • Follow established quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures associated with precision medical device production.
