As an Advanced Manufacturing Process Technician, you’ll keep high-volume production humming by dialing in machine setups, applying lean thinking, and watching quality like a hawk. Onsite Job Fair Meet us in person: January 22nd, 12:00 pm–4:00 pm 1400 North Goodman Street, Rochester, NY 14609 A day in the life As your 6 PM–6 AM shift kicks off, you review the run plan and confirm that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are in place. You complete line changeovers and machine setups to get the next production run started quickly and correctly. While the line runs, you monitor Human–Machine Interface (HMI) screens, fine-tune packaging machines, and resolve minor issues before they cause downtime. Throughout the night, you collect and record production data, escalate discrepancies to leadership, and collaborate with your teammates to hit output and quality targets. You wrap by cleaning, organizing, and securing the area—leaving it safer and more efficient than you found it.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED (required)
• Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment
• Solid shop math skills for accurate measurements and calculations
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and machine interfaces
• Comfort with packaging machines and Human–Machine Interface (HMI) systems
• Collaborative mindset and reliability
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality standards

Responsibilities

• Execute SOPs to drive consistent, repeatable results
• Use Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve flow
• Set up and change over machines for scheduled production runs
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on packaging equipment and HMIs
• Partner with team members to meet production goals and timelines
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area at all times
• Document production metrics and promptly report any issues
