Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineer or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
Experience with CAD modeling.
Knowledge of Lean principles and concepts.
Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Identify use cases for new technology manufacturing tools and machines.
Design and plan layouts for Smart factory assembly and materials handling equipment.
Help plan and participate in process flow design.
Do analyses of various manufacturing data, i.e. Work In Process (WIP), Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Research and report on design concepts to optimize deployment of manufacturing techniques.
