About The Position

RECONN is seeking problem solvers who take pride in public safety and are comfortable in a fast-paced, exciting work environment to join their team. This position is based out of Henderson, Colorado, and offers a starting pay of $23.00 - $33.00/hr., depending on experience. This is a full-time position requiring overtime and travel (70% home, 30% travel). Ideal candidates will have advanced locating experience with all utilities, a demonstrated commitment to quality, and attention to detail. Experience reading CAD, GIS, and MicroStation files is a plus.

Requirements

Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
Able to stand and walk for long periods of time on varying types of terrain; bend and stoop; lift heavy items up to 75 lbs.
Proficiency with technology.
Must be able to travel.
Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
Able to pass a drug screen (this is a safety-sensitive position).
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record required.

Responsibilities

Correct, safe, and efficient locating of underground utilities both public and private.
Thoroughly research and investigate all underground utilities in an area.
Properly mark the location of underground utilities.
Complete necessary paperwork and document each location.
Utilize electronic field sketching, GPS, and Data Collection for documentation.
