As the Advanced Lead Engineer - Inlet and Exhaust Design, you will contribute to the design, optimization, and support of inlet and exhaust systems, ensuring alignment with business priorities and technical requirements. You will focus on module-level initiatives, collaborating with component design engineers and other stakeholders to interpret requirements, perform trade studies, and ensure proper integration. In this role, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, provide technical oversight, and support production and field service incorporation. You will play a key role in driving technical improvements, refining processes, and mentoring team members to achieve organizational success.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in inlet and exhaust systems design, with demonstrated contributions to module-level activities.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, analysis, and evaluation of inlet and exhaust systems projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities and technical excellence.
  • Develop and execute module-level design strategies, including managing product and system requirements flowdown.
  • Contribute to innovation and technical advancements for product introduction, quality, performance, cost improvements, and problem resolution.
  • Provide leadership during design reviews and collaborate across teams to ensure alignment and integration.
  • Lead cross-functional teams with moderate resource requirements, communicating concepts and influencing technical decisions.
  • Present technical data to internal and external customers, providing updates to leadership on project status and significant issues.
  • Identify and solve technical problems, recommend best practices, and develop action plans to address challenges.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced team members, fostering technical growth and development.
