Our Advanced Industrial Engineer-Lead plays a critical role in shaping the future state of operations by delivering scalable, efficient, and resilient manufacturing systems. You will lead a team responsible for supporting projects from start to finish while ensuring alignment with our operating system principles: designing systems that expose problems, addressing issues at their source, promoting knowledge sharing, and developing leaders who teach and mentor others. The ideal candidate will demonstrate key competencies including systems thinking and advanced problem-solving, strong project leadership with cross-functional influence, and data-driven decision-making. They will be skilled in change management and stakeholder alignment, exhibit strong team leadership and coaching abilities, and maintain a results-oriented mindset focused on achieving measurable outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of Industrial or Operations Engineering
  • Travel: 25%
  • This position works within the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize end-to-end manufacturing and operational processes for efficiency, quality, and scalability.
  • Lead a team that focuses on advanced time studies, line balancing, capacity modeling, and throughput optimization initiatives.
  • Develop standard work, labor models, and ergonomic solutions for complex manufacturing environments.
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints to identify and eliminate waste across operations.
  • Build and maintain advanced simulation, flow, and capacity models to support data-driven decisions.
  • Create cost models, make-vs-buy analyses, and ROI justifications for capital and process investments.
  • Influence product design through DFMA, tolerance analysis, error-proofing, and assembly feasibility studies.
  • Lead NPI industrialization efforts, including production layouts, material flow, and ramp-up strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement through Kaizen events, KPI development, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
