Position Summary: Reporting to the Dover Industrial Engineering Director of Advanced Manufacturing, the Industrial Engineer is responsible for driving process optimization and operational efficiency across manufacturing operations. This role drives improvements in line balancing, takt time definition, and cycle time analysis, ensuring efficient throughput and optimal utilization of labor, equipment, and materials. The Industrial Engineer will lead the design and implementation of material handling strategies, PFEP structures, Kanban systems, and FIFO flow to support stable and responsive production lines. Key responsibilities include analyzing workflows, validating line setups, and standardizing processes using data-driven methodologies and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to eliminate waste, improve flow, and enhance overall performance, quality, and cost efficiency.
