About The Position

As an Advanced ILS Specialist I for Intelligence Systems, you'll be supporting a cross-functional Integrated Product Team (IPT) providing integrated logistics support for unique mechanical and structural systems, working on small technical teams and coordinating with IPT Leads to complete assignments. Our program offers the opportunity to see the development of technical solutions from concept level through use in operational environments, with extensive hands-on participation supporting engineers with a wide range of logistics, sustainment, and technical support tasks. Program work products include specialized tools, structural systems, hardware components, assemblies, and prototypes supporting both technology development tasking and customer operations initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Management or Engineering, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Fully proficient knowledge of Acquisition Logistics (a multi-functional technical management discipline associated with influencing design for supportability and planning the support infrastructure for a system by focusing on the integrated logistics support (ILS) elements and working with and across all IPTs).
  • Strong knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements (supply support; maintenance planning; manpower and personnel; technical manuals; training and training equipment; support equipment; facilities; computer resources support; packaging, handling, storage and transportation (PHS&T); design interface; reliability, maintainability and availability (RM&A), how they interact and how they are applied across a program, their effect on a system, plus how a systems’ design and changes affect the ILS elements).
  • Knowledge of military/commercial requirements/specifications.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of standard ILS concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Hands-on logistics and sustainment experience with an interest/ability in developing innovative solutions to unique problems.
  • High attention to detail with the ability and flexibility to work in an often-dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work under general supervision, alone, and/or with a team of project technicians and engineers, as specific tasking dictates.
  • TS/SCI with polygraph is helpful.
  • Background supporting mechanical and/or civil engineering projects with demonstrated proficiencies in the construction and fabrication of hardware prototypes and proof-of-concept mock-ups.
  • Familiarity with building codes and engineering standards is a plus.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work with multi-disciplined teams on a range of tasking, sometimes in new technology areas, outside the ranges of your expertise.
  • Ability to operate a range of moving equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, pallet jacks, and vehicles.
  • Minimum Secret-level clearance transferrable at time of hire required, TS/SCI with polygraph is preferred.
  • Proven conflict management skills.
  • Subject matter expert (SME) in one discipline/field and developing fully proficient knowledge in adjacent disciplines/fields.
  • Strong leadership skills consistent with a team-based work environment.
  • Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
